Deke is a survivor of Puppy Strangles. When he was a baby, he developed blisters all over his snout. When he recovered, scar tissue where the blisters were was left. This is why he has a black snout. He's the biggest baby. He's afraid of just about everything and hides under my desk during bad weather.
